Last chance: Teen Driving Safety Leadership Award

The National Safety Council is accepting nominations for the Teen Driving Safety Leadership Award, which recognizes individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to reducing the number of crashes, injuries and deaths involving teen drivers.

“Car crashes continue to be the leading cause of death for American teens,” Deborah A.P. Hersman, president and CEO of NSC, said in a press release. “Fortunately, these crashes continue to decline because of outstanding leadership and efforts to effect change. We look forward to recognizing those contributions again this year, because there are so many people helping to protect our most vulnerable drivers.”

The deadline to submit a nomination is July 1.
