NACOSH sets meeting for emergency response and preparedness subcommittee

Washington – The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health’s subcommittee on Emergency Response and Preparedness has scheduled a meeting for Sept. 7-9 in Washington.

Subcommittee members will finish discussing possible elements of a proposed rule for emergency response and preparedness, according to a press release announcing the meeting. Previous discussions have focused on topics such as facility and equipment preparedness, vehicle preparedness and operation, pre-incident planning, and post-incident analysis.

NACOSH advises the secretaries of labor and health and human services on occupational safety and health programs and policies.
