Austin, TX — The Texas Department of Insurance’s Division of Workers’ Compensation has produced a series of educational videos intended to simplify the subject of workers’ comp for employees.

The video series, titled Your Guide to Workers’ Comp, explains terminology used and guides employees through the process of making a claim. Other topics addressed include understanding the different types of benefits, handling disputes and getting back to work.

The videos:

“People are busy these days and are much more likely to watch a video to learn about something new,” DWC Commissioner Ryan Brannon said in an April 17 press release. “Part of our mission is to educate all system participants, and this is a proactive way to help injured employees get a better understanding of workers’ comp.”
