FEMA seeks members for advisory council

FEMA is looking for a variety of emergency management professionals for 12 open positions on its National Advisory Council.

Committee members provide recommendations to the FEMA administrator on topics such as the National Response Framework, the National Incident Management System, the Stafford Act and the National Disaster Housing Strategy. NAC terms last three years, and members meet quarterly.

Applicants must submit their information to FEMA by March 5 for consideration.
