FMCSA adds hours-of-service public listening session

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on March 26 will host a fifth public listening session to solicit comments on potential hours-of service regulations.

According to a notice (.pdf file) published in the March 2 Federal Register, the agency wants to know what factors, issues and data it should be aware of as it prepares to issue a notice of proposed rulemaking on HOS requirements for property-carrying commercial motor vehicle drivers.

The session will be held in the Louisville, KY, area in conjunction with the Mid-America Trucking Show.
