OSHA seeking members for federal employee advisory council
Washington – OSHA is requesting nominations for membership on its Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health.
FACOSH advises the secretary of labor on occupational safety and health matters related to federal employees. The committee is made up of 16 members – eight represent management and eight represent labor.
Open membership posts include two management and three labor representatives. The secretary of labor will select the new members, whose three-year terms will begin Jan. 1.
Nominations are due May 15.
