100 years of Safety+Health: Launched in November 1919
Every month during 2019, Safety+Health will be sharing bits of the magazine’s history from its first 100 years.
National Safety News launched in November 1919 as a weekly newsletter. In May 1921, it became a monthly magazine. The magazine’s name changed to National Safety and Health News in May 1985, and continued with this name until January 1987, when it was renamed Safety & Health. The logo changed to Safety+Health in July 1993.
