He writes toolbox talks each month - instead of purchasing them as we did in the past - tailored specifically to our work and how we do it. He writes a monthly newsletter, keeping everyone aware of what is going on. Detailed near-miss and incident reports are sent out companywide and with our subcontractors to help prevent future occurrences. He revised our site-specific safety orientation for every project, giving it a more personal touch. He even led the creation of a process for avoiding underground utility hits, adopted by the largest medical center in the state.”
