National Safety Council Safety Congress & Expo: A virtual event
The annual National Safety Council Safety Congress & Expo may look different this year, but you can still count on an engaging and educational experience.
The virtual event – set to take place March 1-5 – will feature 11 Professional Development Seminars on March 1-2, with the Expo Floor opening March 3. NSC President and CEO Lorraine M. Martin and NIOSH Director John Howard will kick off the event with the Opening Session, discussing the effects of COVID-19 on the workplace.
Later that day is the Executive Forum, which will dive into the leading trends in environmental, health and safety.
NSC Safety Congress & Expo favorite Corrie Pitzer, CEO of SAFEmap International, will present the Occupational Keynote – “The Final Frontier: Zero Fatalities” – on March 4. That will be followed by motivational speaker Ricky Rollins, who is set to give the Motivational Keynote, wrapping up the keynote presentations.
But that’s not all: Attendees will have 38 Technical Sessions to choose from, as well as the opportunity to earn continuing education credits for attending. And don’t forget to visit the New Product Showcase and vote for your favorite products and services. Voting opens Feb. 2, and winners will be announced March 4.
Travel the virtual Expo Floor as a “safety voyager”: Initiate a chat and download collateral from participating virtual booths for a chance to win a prize. You’ll also be able to earn safety badges and play virtual trivia with other safety professionals.
Make sure to sign up for the “Show Daily” newsletter to stay up to date on all the latest news and information out of the show, too. You can sign up at safetyandhealthmagazine.com/signup.
