NSC unveils Safety Technology Pavilion in Orlando
Orlando, FL — The Safety Technology Pavilion made its debut at the 2021 NSC Safety Congress & Expo, which kicked off Oct. 11 at the Orange County Convention Center.
The pavilion includes resources from the council’s Work to Zero initiative, a technology readiness assessment and educational presentations on technological solutions, along with new products and services that are “creative, innovative and support the NSC mission and goal of saving lives, from the workplace to anyplace.”
On its Congress & Expo website, NSC says: “We believe technology will play a large role in reducing, even eliminating, our stagnant injury and fatality rates. In a recent national survey, we found that one of the biggest barriers for employers adopting technologies for the purpose of workplace safety is a limited knowledge of what technology currently exists.”
