OSHA advisory committee, work group on heat injury and illness to meet June 30
Washington — The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health has scheduled a virtual public meeting for June 30.
As outlined in the June 6 Federal Register, the meeting is slated for 3:30 p.m. Eastern. The tentative agenda includes an agency update from OSHA and a report from the committee’s work group on heat injury and illness prevention, which is scheduled to meet beforehand at 1 p.m. Eastern.
The deadline to submit comments and requests to speak during the NACOSH meeting is June 23. The heat work group meeting is open to the public as well, but “any participation by the public will be in listen-only mode.”
The 12-member committee advises, consults with and makes recommendations to the secretaries of labor and health and human services on matters relating to workplace safety and health.
