OSHA advisory committees to meet in November
Washington — OSHA’s Federal Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health is set to meet Nov. 17.
According to a notice published in the Oct. 19 Federal Register, the meeting is slated for 1 p.m. Eastern and will be open to the public virtually. The tentative agenda includes updates from OSHA leadership, as well as discussions on the agency’s responsibilities under 29 CFR Part 1960 and its national emphasis program on preventing heat illnesses and injuries.
The deadline to submit comments and requests to speak is Nov. 10.
OSHA’s Maritime Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health also will meet Nov. 17. According to a notice published in the Oct. 18 Federal Register, that meeting is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and will be open to the public virtually.
Additionally, the MACOSH Shipyard and Longshoring work groups will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 16.
