In January and February, the National Safety Council teamed up with Honda on a series of free virtual “parent nights” about the issues teen drivers face.

Those are now available on demand, so you can watch whenever it’s convenient for you.

A lot was discussed:

  • The evolving risks surrounding teen drivers
  • State-specific graduated driver license laws
  • Simple tips and free resources to help you get – and stay – involved as your teen learns to drive

Motor vehicle-related crashes remain the No. 1 cause of death for U.S. teens. And an NSC analysis of the most recent data available shows that more than 2,400 teens died in motor vehicle-related crashes in 2020 – up 15.6% from the previous year.

By bringing parents and experts together, the NSC DriveitHOME initiative and Honda’s corporate social responsibility team aim “to put an end to these alarming statistics.”

Check out a session to learn how you can help protect your teen driver.
