OSHA seeks members for advisory committee on federal workers
Washington — OSHA is accepting nominations for membership on its Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health.
FACOSH members advise the labor secretary on issues relating to the occupational safety and health of federal workers. The 16-member council is made up of eight management representatives and eight labor representatives, all of whom serve terms of three years or less.
According to a notice published Aug. 4, OSHA is seeking four management representatives and one labor representative to begin three-year terms on Jan. 1.
The deadline to submit nominations is Sept. 22.
