NIOSH seeks nominees for World Trade Center Health Program advisory committee
Washington — The NIOSH World Trade Center Health Program is accepting nominations for its Scientific/Technical Advisory Committee.
The 17-member committee offers recommendations on research, the addition of WTC-related health conditions to the program list and eligibility criteria for the program. Members serve terms of up to four years.
NIOSH is seeking nominations for:
- Two representatives of certified-eligible survivors
- One mental health professional
- One industrial hygienist
- One occupational physician with expertise in treating WTC rescue and recovery workers
- One physician experienced in pulmonary medicine
- One representative of WTC responders
Nominations are due Dec. 30.
