Do you know a hearing conservation hero?
Washington — NIOSH is accepting nominations for its 2025 Safe-in-Sound Excellence in Hearing Loss Prevention Award.
The award recognizes organizations and professionals who implement effective practices or innovations that contribute to the prevention of on-the-job noise-induced hearing loss and tinnitus.
Nominations are due June 8. To submit one, email [email protected] and describe why the individual or organization is deserving. Self-nominations will be accepted until Aug. 19.
NIOSH presents the award in conjunction with the National Hearing Conservation Association and the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation.
The recipient will be recognized at NHCA’s annual conference, set for Feb. 5-8 in Charleston, SC.
