Universities partner on toolkit to improve health, safety and wellness
Lowell, MA – A new online toolkit aims to help employers integrate their health, safety and wellness programs.
The Healthy Workplace Participatory Program was developed by the Center for the Promotion of Health in the New England Workplace, which is a joint initiative from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and the University of Connecticut.
Citing studies that suggest integrating health, safety and wellness can improve results and save money, researchers said the toolkit can assist large and small organizations in setting up a program to help improve employee health.
The kit features a nine-question survey to help users develop a customized report that the employer can use to implement a program.
