Washington – The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health is scheduled to meet June 18 in Washington to discuss key OSHA initiatives, including best-practice language for protecting temporary workers.

The day prior, NACOSH’s Temporary Workers Work Group is slated to meet to develop temporary-worker safety recommendations for the full committee’s consideration.

Both meetings are open to the public. Anyone wishing to speak or present at the NACOSH meeting must submit a request by June 9.

During the full committee meeting, OSHA administrator David Michaels will present an update on agency initiatives, and NIOSH Director John Howard will speak, according to a tentative agenda.

NACOSH advises the secretaries of labor and health and human services on occupational safety and health programs and policies.
