“Laura has led Street Smart campaigns in over 10 municipalities in northwest New Jersey. While each campaign is unique, they have all resulted in positive, measurable outcomes. Most recently, Laura incorporated a new positive reinforcement initiative. Complementing tickets and warnings, she secured discount coupons from local businesses to distribute to people engaging in safe walking and driving behavior. This not only recognized those following the law, but also created public engagement opportunities for the police and involved the local business community, building new safety advocates along the way.”
