Walsh renews charter for OSHA advisory committee
Washington — Labor Secretary Marty Walsh has renewed the two-year charter for the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health, OSHA announced in a notice published in the Sept. 30 Federal Register.
NACOSH advises, consults with and makes recommendations to the secretaries of labor and health and human services on matters relating to occupational safety and health.
The 12-member committee has established a work group on heat injury and illness prevention. That work group met for the first time in February and, most recently, on Sept. 12.
