Construction advisory committee to meet; nominations open
Washington – Assistant OSHA administrator Jordan Barab will speak at an upcoming Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health meeting.
The meeting is scheduled for Dec. 5-6 in Washington, and will include a presentation on a draft of a proposed OSHA standard on beryllium and a discussion on OSHA 10- and 30-hour training courses.
Comments and requests to speak must be submitted by Nov. 15.
Additionally, OSHA is accepting nominations for ACCSH membership. Openings are available for two employee representatives, two employer representatives, one public representative, and one state safety and health agency representative.
Nominations are due Jan. 6.
ACCSH advises the secretary of labor and OSHA on construction standards and other related policy matters.
