Chicago to host combustible dust meetings

OSHA has scheduled two additional stakeholder meetings as part of its effort to develop a combustible dust standard. The agency issued an advance notice of proposed rulemaking for a combustible dust standard Oct. 21.

The meetings are scheduled for April 21 in Chicago, and topics include the scope, organization and economic impact of the proposed standard, and the role of consensus standards. Previous meetings were held in February and December in Atlanta and Washington, respectively.

The deadline for registration is April 7.
