State bill would protect workers’ right to keep guns in cars
Montgomery, AL – Alabama employers would be prohibited from establishing policies against employees who store a firearm inside their locked vehicle while at work, under a bill re-introduced by state Sen. Roger Bedford (D).
Senate Bill 24 was pre-filed for the 2013 legislative season. Bedford initially introduced the bill in 2010; it passed in the Senate but failed in the House.
