“Miss McCollom was appointed team leader of the Confined Space Subject Matter Expert Team, put together by Syngenta Corporate Senior Leadership. Her leadership efforts effectively and efficiently distributed tasks to team members, which researched governing bodies to develop procedures, compile personnel protective equipment requirements, utilized outside resources to produce training material for immediate use by adopting sites, and finally composed rollout material for an audience of approximately 600 people at the Annual Syngenta Corn Division Meeting. This also included optional requirements such as site confined space rescue teams, and local fire department involvement. This enabled all Syngenta Corn Division sites to implement a fully compliant confined space entry program.”
