Umair Aslam Butt “Umair has a strong belief in the value of safety for the people and organization. In order to support this belief, he introduced the concept of real-time scenario-based drills in September 2014. Previously in the organization, only muster drills were being performed based on evacuation methodology, and fighting fires or emergencies was not sanctioned as per company policy. Umair took the lead on this and updated the emergency response policy and procedures via management of change process. This resulted in a trained emergency response team and weekly scenario-based drills.” |
