MSHA unveils new website; seeks feedback
Arlington, VA – The Mine Safety and Health Administration is looking for feedback on its new website.
The beta website went live on Nov. 24. It is intended to be easier to use, with improved organization and better search functions, according to a letter to industry stakeholders. The design aims to limit text and offers a drop-down navigation menu.
Most pages from the original homepage and navigation menu have been moved to the new site. In the letter, MSHA administrator Joseph A. Main said visitors can use the search function in the upper-right-hand corner of each page if they have difficulty finding information.
Both the beta and old websites will operate through 2015. MSHA is slated to officially release the completed new website early in 2016.
To send comments about the beta site, click on the “Submit Website Feedback” tab on the right side of every page, or email feedback to [email protected].
