“Ben served as the implementer and primary trainer for FFPO’s ‘Speak-Up/Listen-Up’ program. He was a key leader in FFPO’s implementation of the recent redesign of the ES&H requirements for subcontractors. He served as the man in the field, guiding subcontractors and site subcontract managers through the new process, assisting them, coaching them and providing oversight in the field. The results were fewer accidents and injuries and better compliance – and leading indicators – the amount of time necessary for the subcontractors to prepare and provide submittals, and the number of times it took to get them approved. This is a paradigm shift for two cultures, and Ben’s efforts contributed substantially to its success.”
