According to a tentative agenda published in the Nov. 1 Federal Register, heat illness and risk-based safety will be discussed. In addition, OSHA and NIOSH officials plan to provide updates on their work. The meeting is slated for 1 p.m. Eastern.
The 12-member committee advises, consults with and makes recommendations to the secretaries of labor and health and human services on matters relating to workplace safety and health.
