Be part of Safe + Sound Week
Washington — Registration is open for Safe + Sound Week, an annual initiative from OSHA, NIOSH and a coalition of safety organizations – including the National Safety Council.
Scheduled for Aug. 15-21, this year’s event is intended to promote awareness and understanding of workplace safety and health programs, which OSHA says “can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness, improving sustainability and the bottom line.”
More than 5,300 employers took part in last year’s event, the agency notes, adding that “participating in Safe + Sound Week can help get your program started, energize an existing one or provide a chance to recognize your safety successes.”
