“For his graduate degree, Justin led a leadership project for child care centers in New Hampshire. He was the first person to build a safety management system in a child care setting in Merrimack, NH. Justin went into the centers and developed an ergonomic program based around lifting the children and toys. He started a near-miss program for the center, where employees could come forward and voice their safety concerns. He had the child care center start a safety committee. Injuries went from a 3.2 to a .086. The staff loved the level of engagement.”
