“Abby developed and led the execution of an integral, quadrant-based site safety plan that focused on physical hazard elimination, injury prevention, cultural change and personal leadership to ensure technical hazards and adaptive challenges were concurrently addressed. Strategic initiatives included a manual material handling sweep; crane safety team; incident- and injury-free/safety culture teachings; and a first-line leader safety toolbox. Key performance indicators were established for all initiatives and reviewed monthly. Within one year, the Frederickson site saw a 38% decrease in recordable injuries. This site safety plan template became a standard for safety and quality organizations across Boeing Fabrication.”
