“Chris had the opportunity to demonstrate true leadership skills and abilities during a project to recover an anomalous test article. Chris’ leadership was crucial in the team’s identification of conditions, developing means of elimination and mitigation plans for a wide range of hazards. When it came time to remove the test article, Chris was on the ground floor in leading the recovery. He ensured controls were in place and provided diligent oversight to ensure roles and responsibilities of safety were being followed, pausing work when needed and stopping work to reevaluate when unanticipated hazards were discovered.”
