Alternative methods to lockout/tagout: Share your thoughts
The National Safety Council is encouraging its members to participate in a survey being conducted by design safety engineering about the voluntary standard Control of Hazardous Energy: Lockout/Tagout and Alternative Methods.
The anonymous survey asks respondents about their views on the methods to control hazardous energy and the effectiveness of those methods. Results will be shared with OSHA and the public to help inform decisions concerning the control of hazardous energy and the potential revision of OSHA’s standard on lockout/tagout (1910.147).
The survey takes approximately eight to 10 minutes to complete.
