Technology and innovation take the spotlight in New Orleans
New Orleans — The Safety Technology Pavilion has returned to the NSC Safety Congress & Expo.
The pavilion debuted at the 2021 Congress & Expo in Orlando, FL, and returned last year in San Diego featuring the Innovation and Technology Experience.
That experience is back again in New Orleans.
“Stop by and listen to tech talks, interact with technologies firsthand, and chat with our experts as you navigate the complex and evolving landscape of emerging technology in safety and health,” the National Safety Council says.
The pavilion (Booth 2437) also provides an opportunity to vote in the Safety Innovation Challenge, aimed at providing solutions to prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Voting ends at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, and three finalists will demonstrate their technological solutions during the Closing Keynote on Wednesday.
The pavilion also will showcase demos from the six Challenge semifinalists – and others – from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday and 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Please note: The Pavilion will be closed for private events from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
