Call for nominations: OSHA’s national advisory committee
Washington — OSHA is seeking nominations for membership on its National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health.
The nominations are for one public, one labor and one management representative, along with one occupational safety professional.
Committee members are chosen based on their experience, knowledge and competence in the field of occupational safety and health. They serve two-year terms.
The 12-member committee advises, consults with and makes recommendations to the secretaries of Labor and Health and Human Services related to the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.
Nominations are due Aug. 16.
