OSHA advisory committee to meet in September

Washington — OSHA’s National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health has scheduled a virtual meeting for Sept. 9.

The tentative agenda includes updates from OSHA and NIOSH, information about the Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program, and news on Safety as a Core Value. The meeting is set for 10 a.m. Eastern. Comments or requests to speak must be submitted by Sept. 3. 

The 12-member committee advises, consults with and makes recommendations to the secretaries of labor and health and human services on matters relating to workplace safety and health.
