Automatic safety stop
The SIERA S3 braking system is engineered to autonomously decelerate a forklift upon detecting humans and obstacles. Employers can define proximity distance bands for deceleration after warning with audible and visual alerts. Users can define up to 33 feet and speed reductions of 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%. When a pedestrian or object gets into proximity of each of these bands, the system will automatically override the driver and slow down to the speed of the band.
