ATRI launches survey on critical issues facing truckers
Arlington, VA – Trucking industry stakeholders can participate in a survey to help identify the most critical issues faced by the industry and possible strategies to address them.
Launched Aug. 5, the survey is the latest iteration of an annual survey first conducted in 2005 by the American Transportation Research Institute, the research arm of the American Trucking Associations. Among the safety topics a participant can select as the most critical issues facing the industry are sleep apnea screening and treatment, hours of service, truck size and weight, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Compliance, Safety, Accountability program.
The results of the “2013 Top Industry Issues Survey” are scheduled to be released at the 2013 ATA Annual Management Conference & Exhibition, which is set to take place Oct. 19-22 in Orlando, FL.
