Motor carrier safety advisory committee to meet in February
Washington – The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet Feb.10-11 in Alexandria, VA.
The committee intends to discuss what FMCSA should consider changing or including in the next reauthorization bill to fund federal surface transportation programs. The current surface transportation funding bill, MAP-21, expires Sept. 30.
MCSAC’s subcommittee on FMCSA’s Compliance, Safety, Accountability program is scheduled to meet Feb. 12. The committee last met Sept. 11, and FMCSA has since proposed changes to the CSA website to incorporate compliance review records and licensing and insurance information.
A full agenda for both meetings will be available on the MCSAC website prior to the meetings, which will be open to the public. Comments are due Feb. 5.
