MACOSH to meet this month in Maine
Washington – OSHA’s Maritime Advisory Committee for Occupational Safety and Health is scheduled to meet Sept. 20-21 in Portland, ME.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Man overboard
- Cargo handling equipment
- Confined space ventilation
- Welding shade protection
- Eye injury reduction
MACOSH workgroups are scheduled to meet on Sept. 20, and the full committee on Sept. 21. The workgroup meetings and the full committee meeting are open to the public, and parties who wish to speak at the meetings should submit a request to the Federal eRulemaking Portal.
MACOSH advises OSHA on occupational safety and health issues in the maritime industry.
