The Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) is a professional organization dedicated to providing consumer safety and protection by offering credentialing to those working to prevent noise-induced hearing loss.
CAOHC’s certified Occupational Hearing Conservationists (COHCs), Professional Supervisors of the Audiometric Monitoring Program (CPS/As), and Course Directors (CDs) provide training, consultation, audiometric testing and hearing protection fitting in occupational settings such as manufacturing plants and other facilities with overexposure to high noise levels.
Today, more than 21,000 COHCs, CPS/As and CDs are working to protect the hearing of workers throughout North America and around the globe.
