Cory Worden, Ph.D. ABD, M.S., CSHM, CSP, CHSP, ARM, REM, CESCO, has more than 16 years of experience in safety. He is a safety advisor for the Houston Health Department and has published nine books – his work has been published by the American Society of Safety Professionals, the Association of Occupational Health Professionals in Healthcare, ISHN, EHS Today, the Institute for Safety and Health Management, and more. Cory was the 2014 ISHM Safety Professional of the Year, a 2015 National Safety Council Rising Star of Safety, the 2016 ASSP Healthcare Practice Specialty Safety Professional of the Year, the 2017 AOHP National Extraordinary Member, the 2018 AOHP Extraordinary Services Award recipient and a 2020 Houston Health Department Excellence in Community Service Recipient, and has earned numerous military medals and awards.
