How to effectively measure performance is a common question within the occupational safety and health community in recent years. Traditional lagging indicators have been under fire, but removing them and relying on leading indicators may not be the answer, either. OSH pros are wondering how to create indicators that effectively measure their organization’s performance.
During this webinar, we’ll explore the role of indicators in performance measurement and debunk some of the myths that keep the OSH profession from moving forward. We’ll also use the recently published ANSI/ASSP Z16 standard as a framework for developing and implementing effective indicators based on an organization’s risk profile and management system. At the end of the session, attendees will understand the challenges with OSH performance measurement and identify a road map to put the pieces together for their own organization’s unique needs.
