Join the leaders in personal protective equipment, PIP, to help identify and address the main causes of heat stress and dehydration on the job in both indoor and outdoor environments. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the “whats” and “whys” behind heat stress and dehydration solutions engineered to help drastically improve an organization’s heat stress prevention program, including:

  • A high-level overview of OSHA’s National Emphasis Program and the new ANSI/ASSP A10.50 standard
  • The functionality and benefits of key heat stress preventive PPE technologies
  • The essential ingredients and components that support proper hydration
  • Advancements in workwear to keep workers cooler, more comfortable and more productive on the job

Ben is the marketing manager for industrial safety at PIP. He has spent six years in the safety industry conducting market research, offering hazard-driven channel safety solutions, and creating interactive safety tools for distributors and end users.



Kerry Schimelfenig Kerry Schimelfenig , Product Sales Manager, Protective Industrial Products, Inc.

Kerry is a product sales manager for PIP and has many years of expertise in the safety industry. He holds 20 industry-specific OSHA certifications that allow him to guide organizations toward the right safety solutions to keep workers comfortable, productive and compliant in the industries they serve. Kerry also has a deep knowledge in heat stress and has been selected to sit as an advisor to help evolve the A-10 heat stress standard for specific industries.
