Dr. Colin Brown serves as the director of business and product growth at the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He brings a background in metals recycling, manufacturing, health care, academia and research to his work as an environmental, health and safety professional and educator. Colin has designed and implemented complex safety and industrial hygiene programs and initiatives at several organizations, reducing risk and increasing organizational resilience and productivity. Additionally, he’s taught and mentored many emerging professionals in undergraduate and graduate safety and health programs.
Colin earned his doctorate, master’s and bachelor’s degrees in occupational safety and industrial hygiene. He is a certified safety professional, certified industrial hygienist and certified instructional trainer.
