Washington – OSHA has updated its National Emphasis Program on amputations to reflect the latest enforcement and injury data, the agency announced on Aug. 13.
Washington – A recently released OSHA fact sheet on preventing amputations from food slicers and meat grinders incorporates findings from the agency’s new injury reporting requirements.
Salt Lake City – Under a new Local Emphasis Program beginning Nov. 1, Utah OSHA will closely examine establishments in industries that use equipment or machinery – such as conveyors, drills or saws – known to cause amputations.
