Orlando, FL — OSHA is seeking to harness the power of employers as a “force multiplier” to improve worker safety and health, according to agency leader Doug Parker.
When one thinks of cooperative programs, the OSHA Voluntary Protection Programs or the agency’s partnerships generally come to mind. The fact is, OSHA has many programs under the cooperative programs umbrella – all of which are based on safety and health improvement strategies.
Washington – OSHA has stated that it will change some of the processes in its Voluntary Protection Programs, after a Department of Labor Office of Inspector General audit uncovered several weaknesses in recording and reporting systems involving contract workers.
