Werner, based in Itasca, IL, recently announced leadership changes for the North America Sales and Channel Marketing divisions. Don Freeman has been promoted to president of the North America Professional Business Unit.

James M. Conway, the founder of Mezzanine Safeti-Gates Inc. in Essex, MA, died peacefully at his home on May 23. From the start of Mezzanine Safeti-Gates in 1982, Conway designed and sold safety gate solutions for the material handling and manufacturing industries throughout North America and beyond.

Memphis, TN-based PPE manufacturer Radians is expanding its Memphis campus. The expansion allows Radians to have more inventory in-house – strengthening its supply chain capabilities – and provides the needed space required for its growing warehousing operations and workforce.

Air Systems International has announced the retirement of Ray Ellis, a founder and partner of the Chesapeake, VA-based company. Ellis started with Air Systems as one of its first sales representatives, driving a van around to promote and educate customers on the company’s product line.

Milwaukee Tool has begun construction on its newest facility in 
Grenada County, MS. This expansion will accommodate the company’s growing power tool accessories and power tool business, and will serve as a centralized repair facility.
