The National Safety Council is pleased to recognize the 2014 Class of the NSC Rising Stars of Safety, presented by DuPont Sustainable Solutions. With many outstanding nominations to choose from, 41 honorees were selected.

The Chemical Safety Board has drawn the attention of Congress – for the wrong reasons. During a recent House committee hearing, members of both political parties sharply criticized CSB Chairman Rafael Moure-Eraso for alleged leadership and management problems at the agency.

Washington – Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and five other members of the House have sent a letter to the White House calling for Chemical Safety Board Chairman Rafael Moure-Eraso to be replaced.
