Washington – NIOSH is asking stakeholders to weigh in on the successes of, or challenges facing, the agency’s National Occupational Research Agenda.
The 19-year-old partnership program focuses on researching and improving workplace safety practices. In 2006, NORA began using a structure based on industry sectors to guide its research priorities.
Comments on the program’s performance and sector-based approach are due March 24.
“Feedback from our stakeholders is essential to help us understand whether or not we are making a difference in targeting research to improve the health and safety of America’s workforce,” NIOSH Director John Howard said in a press release.
